Brazos Bend State Park is made up of three main ecosystems: forests, prairies, and wetlands. As a result, many creatures thrive in this diverse environment. In return, photography at Brazos Bend State Park can be quite exciting. This was the first place I photographed great-horned owls in the wild. Even after many trips to this park, I am still fascinated with the enchanting wildlife that calls this place home. All pictures below were taken at Brazos Bend State Park, which is a part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
